History is not only a subject to explore but also it is an ocean of knowledge. It is a spectrum of cognizance, a wisdom and quest for self discovery. History is an experience and a medium to know and understand the self root and its originality. Knowing history not only unveils one's cultural roots but also it uncovers the social and religious foundation. Therefore it is an important and helpful part of life.
History talks about evolution, revolution, war, ethnicity, cultural and social aspects. It covers a vast and wide range of elemental parts in this world. History reveals the truth. It relates people's journey from ancient civilizations to modern society. It talks about how the evolution happened on behalf of early human species to present day ultra modern and tech savvy human beings. It helps to know about one's own country and soil and how different events happened in the past. It talks about chronological events that happened in one society. It answers a lot of questions with "how" , "when" and "why". Therefore , people can learn from the mistakes happened in the past. History also mentions the courage and bravery for past and present figures.People become motivated after reading these stories. History identifies the injustice and brutality in one's acts and reveals his true identity in front of the world. History helps to recognize the true human spirit and illustrates this as an example to follow in the present and future. So, knowing history opens the eyes and creates a visionary path for the whole world.
For example , in World War 2 , Hitler and the Germans performed a heinous crime and inhuman act of executing millions of Jews across the world. History describes these events and presents them to the world. Even though it happened 70 years before, history keeps track and we are able to know the truth behind these events. So history not only specifies an event or occurrence, but also mentions the heroes and villains behind that. History also helps to develop a strategic and planned way to identify different technological and tactical innovations from past. For example, if someone reads about the Pyramids in Egypt and how those were built, it gives an insight into the science and architecture in the past. It helps to explore the ancient and medieval scientific innovations and experiments and reveals resourceful information about those to research more. History also talks about the evolution of art and culture and its transformation to the modern day version. People can relate and compare the old form with the new one. Therefore different social, cultural and human elements are explored and studied through historical events and incidents.
