What a Christian Is
A true Christian, supposedly has a personal relationship with Jesus. Let's look at the name of this personage first. Christ ( Messiah, Anointed One, Savior) is a title. His name is Jesus of Nazareth, a Nazarite. So His name would be, Jesus Nazarene the Christ ( The One of Truth), The Leader of the Nazarenes. Jesus was in the Nazarite Sect of men that took a vow of dedication unto the Lord while observing not to cut their hair, abstain from alcohol and grape products, ( this would be why Jesus told His mother Mary it was not yet my time, when changing the water into wine) and to stay clear of corpses, as was Sampson the Nazarite. For a purification process of cleansing the body, the hair would be shaved completely off and a thorough washing of the body. I haven't seen any artists description with Jesus' head having been shaved as of yet. So as an on looker reflecting on all of the artists portrayals of Jesus, I would have to assume that He never purified Himself at any time. Boasting a boldness of intuitive speculation, my instincts first reaction to this obvious deception of every single artist, would be that Christ Jesus did shave His head, at least on one occasion, in the tradition of the Nazarene Sect. The purification of His body, in respect to some accuracy of the Canon, would be when He was Baptized with water in the River Jordan by John The Baptist. He not only followed the Jewish customs, He also followed the Nazarite customs. Jesus of Nazareth was a Nazarite Jew. Jesus Nazarene ( ) the Christ was His name by His Followers.
Jesus and His Disciples, along with all their followers, were known as Nazarenes, not Christians. Jesus was arrested as the Leader of the Nazarenes, The King of the Jews. The term Christian came into effect around 200 to 300 AD, about the same time that the Gospels of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John were written. These Gospels were not written by Jesus' Disciples at all, they were written by men claiming to have the mind of these particular Disciples. Paul's writings depicting himself as a Born again Christian, came to be from Paul having seen Jesus in a vision. This didn't happen, since that would have been Jesus' second return. Well we all missed the boat, if Paul is the only one who was able to see Jesus' second return after His ascension into Heaven, where He sits at the right hand of God The Father. Paul must have been pretty special for Jesus to come and visit Saul, who changed his name to Paul. Now Jesus would have to return a third time in order to fulfill His prophecy. Not to boast again, but I'm more inclined to think that Paul was a little over zealous and was not the only one who was visited by Jesus Christ on His second coming, as Paul would have most of us believe and has most Christians of today do believe. These people who are being mislead by the Christian Churches, are what is called a Christian, a true Christian of today.
Being a Nazarene, a Follower of The Son of Man and The Son of God, affiliated with no earthly Church or religious organization on this planet, I wish to convey my sincerest sorrow for this chain of events that has taken place through history and that being done by the Christian Church. The word Christian today is not what Jesus Nazarene the Christ was and is known as today. Jesus sits at the right hand of God His Father and my Father. Jesus has no relationship with Christians of today, since He doesn't know who they are. They are the ones that are said to be, I know you not. But only God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, can determine what lays in a true Christians heart.
