There is much more to the city of Cleveland than meets the eye. For those stopping in for a quick trip or staying around for a while, you should get to know the Coventry neighborhood. This Ybor of Cleveland is known for it's eclectic mix of interesting shops, mild to wild entertainment and a Bohemian ambience for music lovers and festival goers alike.

Aside from the entertainment and shopping, the street is lined with fantastic and amazing one of a kind restaurants and cafes. If you are looking for a truly unique dining experience, check out some of these favorites:

Winking Lizard- A local favorite featuring wild buffalo wings and mexican beer buckets, to start. The tavern opened it's doors in 1983 and quickly became the leading beer joint in the neighborhood by offering the World Tour of Beers beginning in 1985 featuring 40 beers on their ever growing list. As of today, the Winking Lizard offers 100 beers for the World Tour and party goers have the opportunity to win the coveted World Tour jacket vest if they can swallow all 100 beers within a calendar year. That's something to wink at.

Tommy's-Offering a famed menu of vegan and gluten-free delights, this beloved restaurant/bar boasts a unique environment and a family atmosphere.

Bodega- A trendy martini and wine bar with a large variety of wines and spirits. The guests can enjoy the sounds of local jazz musicians on select nights.

Coventry Phoenix Cafe- homemade pastries, muffins and bagels and a ton of coffee make up this trendy local spot.

Jimmy John's- Homemade fresh buns, fresh veggies and quick service. This sub shop is a local favorite and a preference to larger chains.

BD's Mongolian BBQ- Savory and flavory should be the words to describe this featured hot spot. Create your own plate of chicken, beef or shrimp (or all three) and add all of the fresh veggies and sauces your palate can handle. Watch the swords fly (with meat on them, not at people) and enjoy your pre-chosen dish in a fun and funky atmosphere.

Mint Cafe- Don't let the name fool you. It's not a tea house or candy shoppe, it's actually some of the most tasty Thai food on Coventry.

Goodies-Stop in and enjoy a cup of java, some ice cream or sweet treats at this sweet spot.

Coventry Street is a fun and funky spot to shop, dine and find interesting and unique entertainment. The music flows, the food is abundant and the party goes on and on.
