A surprise party should be a surprise. Anybody can throw a party or a surprise party, but not everyone can throw the perfect and the ultimate surprise party. To this type of surprise party, a lot of family, friends and other people have to be in on this.

This person you are surprising should know this destination. It is best to make it a friend's house that they know of and go there often. So when you invite this person, they will not feel something is wrong or out of the picture. You do not want this person notice. Let one of this person's closest friends tag along them for a few days time. This will help find out if this person has other plans or something they really want. It can also help out by finding out what they like and dislike. Have what the person likes at the party is a really good thing. Don't feel down if they don't mention it, because they are more focused on the excitement. Find out what types of food they like to eat. Later on for dinner, have it on the table.

Make sure to start off with what type of party are you throwing. Could it be a bar-b- q, just a family fun party, or just a party? Make sure to have enough food to last a really long time. There are two types of food to have at basically any party. The first type is the one where many would eat at a dinner table. This is basically food you cook, and eat for dinner. The second type of food is just junk food like. This is where you just eat for snacks. Where guests would grab a handful and talk and eat.

If this isn't the type of party like the one you have at a house, but for a community surprise party so he whole community is on it, than you need a really big place to surprise a person. It should be a parking lot area, or a community centre. Make sure to have music if it is for a lot of people. There could also be a show going on so people could be at the food area, or watching the show. There could also be a station for games and other stuff.

By putting the whole thing in a big tent would stop the person being surprised and know what is going on. If it is a big surprise party, try not to have alcohol. If it is a smaller surprise party, such as at someone's house it is ok to have alcohol. Just beware of drinking and driving law. Just because you have to drive home, means you have to beware of how much alcohol you are consuming.

Make sure to have alternatives such as juice and pop. Keep the area a smoke free environment. Especially if there are kids around, do not smoke. Not everyone is a smoker, or majority of the people are not smokers. If one is desperate to smoke, go to the street. That should most likely be a close enough distance from the house with other people.

Make sure that there are also decorations to put up. Put a big banner to whom the person you are surprising. There could be homemade decorations out of newspapers and crayons. Not always do decorations have to be bought. There are many things to consider when one is throwing the ultimate surprise party. Make sure you organize things so there will be a smaller mess.
