Your feet are one of the most important parts of your body. Many people have trouble with pain in their feet. Anyone who has had to stand at work for 12,10, or even 8 hours at a time can appreciate the feeling of comfortable shoes. No one can endure working a full shift if their feet are in pain or have blisters. Spending a little bit more money on something to ensure your comfort is well worth it.
Everyone needs to take care of their feet, you are going to depend on them to get you around in this world for the rest of your life!
Once you find a comfortable shoe, the last thing you need is for it to fall apart because it was made with cheap materials or poor quality craftsmanship.
Expensive or designer shoes seem to have more comfort and much better quality. Granted, there are some shoe manufacturers out there who market poorly made footwear and charge more than they should. Most of the time name brand or designer shoes are well worth the money.
Take athletic shoes for instance. If I go to a discount department store such as Wal-Mart to find running shoes, nine times out of ten, they are not high quality construction, they don't have good arch support, and they fall apart easily.
Visiting a shoe specialty store such as Foot Locker who carries footwear that is a bit more expensive, with a well known name, and the shoes are much more comfortable to wear, and they last longer because they are made with higher quality materials.
Manufacturers of cheap shoes can not afford to spend the money on quality materials because they sell their products so cheap. They have to pay for the labor to make the shoes, the plant to house the manufacturing facility in. They have the idea that cheap is better, and more people will purchase their shoes because they are cheap. They do not have the best interest of the consumer in mind, they just want to make their money. When those cheap shoes wear out, they know more than likely because of the cost, the consumer may return to buy another pair.
If you think about how many cheap pairs of shoes you buy in a year, wouldn't it just be easier to add all of that money together and get a pair of shoes that are made better and are more comfortable?
Younger people do not realize the importance of taking care of their feet. Once you begin to age, you may start experiencing problems such as arthritis or diabetic foot issues. The better care you take of your feet while you are younger, the less problems you may have with them as you age.
Quality and comfort rate higher in my book over cheap any day.
