Looking young is not about vanity. All of us deserve to look good and one of the most natural ways of looking young is maintaining good health and good habits. Of course, there are ways of looking young using cosmetics or through cosmetic surgery, however, these are only temporary and short term remedy.
Here are 5 ways to look younger instantly:
1. Have sufficient sleep. If you have not been sleeping well, it shows in your eyes and skin texture. Insufficient sleep slow down your body ability to do the necessary repair needed to maintain a healthy body. 7 to 8 hours of sleep is sufficient to maintain a young and healthy glow and it work even better if you can sleep as early as 10pm.
2. Rehydrate as much as you can. As we get older, our skin becomes drier. Though moisturising our skin will help to improve our skin, drinking enough water give us internal hydration. Drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water, preferably still and sugarless water will definitely give your skin the boost it needed. Before long, you will notice a smoother and younger skin texture.
3. Meditate daily. Meditation relaxes your mind and body. When you meditate, you practice the correct breathing method, which helps to give equal dissemination of oxygen throughout our body. Spend about 30 minutes a day meditating. Free your mind of problems and meditate on things that make you happy. When you are relaxed and happy, it shows in your face and your posture.
4. Eat the right kind of food. You will never go wrong with fruit and vegetables. They have the best source of nutrients. Though meat provide protein for a balanced diet, it is good to reduce red meat intake and food cook in saturated or bad fat. Food high in saturated fat not only increases your bad cholesterol, it clots your arteries and slowed down blood circulation. This could result in uneven and dull skin tone.
5. Though taking care of our internal self is the key to looking younger, changing the way we dress and look can also help us look younger. Dress elegantly and well, we do not have to dress like a teenager and we do not have to dress like a dull person. Know what colour suit you and which style bring out the best in you. Sometimes changing your hair colour can helps to brighten your facial feature. Enhanced your feature with some colours but do not overdo on the makeup.
Though it may seem that some of the ways above need time to achieve a younger look, it need not be so. You will be surprised the instant result you can get by simply doing a short meditation and take a short nap and nourish your body with fruit and vegetables and rehydrate by drinking the required amount of water daily. Most importantly, remember your outlook of life will reflect in your face and the way you carry yourself. Have a positive outlook, always be ready to smile, you will definitely and instantly look younger.
