There is only one piece of advice to give to the single bitter person let alone single bitter girl: do not be bitter. Life is too short to be bitter. Life is too short to be a bitter single girl. Life is too short to be bitter at all. It is all a matter of overcoming the bitterness of it all. Luckily, there are many ways and methods of overcome the bitterness.

One:

Do not dwell in the past. I learned this from this episode of the first season of "Heroes." There is a scene where Nathan Petrelli and Daniel Linderman meet. Linderman asks Nathan if he wants to live a life of happiness or a life of meaning. Nathan says he wants to live both. Linderman answers that it cannot be done.

He said to live a life of happiness one must live in the present and be happy with what one has. If you are the bitter single girl, do not dwell in the past and do not obsess about the future. Just focus on here and now. If you dwell in the past and obsess about what could happen in the future, you are going to be bitter. Simply take it one day at a time.

Two:

Vent. You simply need to get it out of your system. If you do not, you will remain bitter. Eventually, that will eat you up alive. Also, you will live the rest of your life in misery. There are ways to vent.

One method of venting would be talking to someone. However, do not vent repeatedly. There is a difference between venting and complaining. Once you have gotten it out of your system, you could move on and try not to be bitter anymore.

The other method would be writing about it. If you cannot talk about it, you could write about it. It is quite the effective way to get it out of your system. By writing about it, you could possibly find out why you are left bitter. Perhaps you could write a book, movie script, or stage play about it.

Three:

This could be grouped with "number two." Recently, a friend instant messaged me telling me about her breakup. Her then fianc broke up with her via text messaging on Valentine's Day. She gave me this interesting list which was posted on her MySpace page. The friend was looking for a new guy who met these "requirements" and said she wanted an "upgrade."

We talked about it. I inquired about her last two boyfriends/fiancs. They ended up meeting those "requirements." So far, she ended up going after the same guy. One guy after the other, they were no different from each other. Perhaps this is one reason a single girl
