"Memory of a Summer's Rain"
We left that summer,
To places with more rain than where we were,
But there was rain,
Even before we left,
I wish I had told him,
What he meant to me then,
Instead of now,
When the summer rain has gone,
And we are away from each other,
Separated by miles, land, and oceans,
Whilst I wait for a miracle,
Those summer rains come and go,
And with them,
He never comes,
I simply want to see,
Him once more,
And when those summer rains come,
Like tears they pour.
