Freelance writing is becoming increasingly popular. More people are leaving the traditional workplace and are starting their own freelancing business. Freelancing can be a lucrative business for those who are highly motivated and self starters. The opportunities for freelance writers seems to only be increasing with the changes in marketing, advertising, and the increase of online writing opportunities.

Freelance writing is far more than just writing a few articles here and there. It can be a fast paced business opportunity that offers a number of personal benefits often forgotten. Freelancing writing offers the freedom to be your own boss, work a flexible schedule, develop a small business and have increased security in an increasingly insecure job market.

As grants are sought there is an increased need for individuals who can write those grant proposals.
