Not enough time? Disorganized? Don't despair! Many people are in the same boat, so before the boat sinks let's take a look at what can be done about changing priorities.

If you really love to write, then there should be no problem. But, you say, I love to write but I can't find the time! Weak. One can always find the time, or make time. If your day is so busy that you can't possibly squeeze in some writing time, then you just don't love writing enough. Even if it is ten or fifteen minutes to jot some basic ideas down, you can do it.

It has never been easier to write and get published today. Helium, among other writing websites, is a godsend, and is a terrific place to get started on a writing career, or even just to exercise your writing skills. A website that creates the titles and exposes your work to hundreds of thousands of people every day was a dream just twenty years ago. What a chance to attack all those ideas that have been percolating in your head for all these years. Now, there is a chance to do it. That is amazing in and of itself!

Some people need to feel the urge to write, or they feel they won't be as creative as possible and that's okay. Then work very early in the morning, or very late at night or some other time. So whats the problem? Helium isn't going anywhere, as it's open for business 24/7. No excuses can wiggle yourself out of it this time....If you want to write, just do it. If you can't finish the whole article, come back to it. There are so many ways to approach writing that it would take hundreds of pages to list them all. The key is to start and see what feels comfortable for you. Don't worry, there's no teacher hanging over your neck. Your output is judged by your peers, not some nebulous being in the great Internet beyond someplace. Can't use that as an excuse either, pal.

If this all seems harsh, it's meant to be. No one should waste talent, and if you've got writing talent and the ability to communicate well and don't use it? Well, that's a mortal sin. Human beings are social creatures and need to communicate, so get to it. If you are a writer, then that is the best method for your communication. Some people are great musicians, some people are great orators, and some people are great writers. Find your method and go to town!

If you don't find enough "tips" in this article, then you're not looking hard enough. The only tip you really need is desire. The rest will work itself out on it's own. There is a large audience out there, and they are waiting for some new material. So what are you waiting for?
