Corporate America has done many things wrong and the current recession is a direct impact of corporate America. Many people will hate this next part but the illegal immigrants are not the down-fall of America.
Honestly, I can't believe I said that last part, but it is corporate America that has taken our jobs away from the Americans and not the immigrants. The only problem I have with immigrants is when they cross our border illegally, but that's a whole different article. If immigrants come here the right way and get the proper documentation, than why should they not be able to work?
Corporate America has found a loop hole to saving money and there is no way that you would ever get an American to work for the wages in Mexico, China, or India; in the United States. Immigrants come over to this country and compared to their country working for $6.00 an hour is a lot.
The current recession was caused by corporate America and now that the crackdown on illegal immigration is taking center stage, illegal immigrants are being deported from this country. The problem is that corporate America has gotten so used to paying low wages, that Americans are not filling those jobs.
It is not that there are not jobs out there, the jobs that are vacant were most likely held by illegal immigrants that have been deported. Corporate America is waiting for the next round of immigrants to arrive, because it saves the company money by keeping the job vacant until an immigrant can fill the position; instead of paying the extra money for an American to fill that same position.
Corporate America makes me sick and so does our Government, but that is a different article all of it's own. This article is not about Walmart, but if you were to take all the money that the Walmart family has, you could probably fill the grand canyon. Corporate America never suffers, it is everyone else that pays for what corporate America does.
Immigrants have families and they want to provide a good life for their families, but to blame the immigrant is not entirely fair. The immigrant may have found the job, but it was corporate America that took that immigrant illegally or not and put them in that position and it was corporate America that made the decision to hurt the American worker.
Corporate America and their greed is what has killed the American worker. There are at least a dozen power house retail businesses throughout America. These businesses can close 8 or 9 stores and it never affects them because in a month they open up a new store in a more profitable area and the one's that suffer by closing 8 or 9 stores, are the employees.
Think about that, all the employees of that closed business are now affected including the immigrants. It is not just the American worker who now has to worry about what to do next. Corporate America not only hurts the American worker, but the immigrant worker as well, personal greed from corporate America is what has hurt us.
