young people cannot eat nor sleep because they just want to sit in front of the computer and play or chat with friends. If the child is already an Internet addict then that will affect his/her development and growth. Chances are that the child's mind will already be polluted with not only the good things from the Internet but with all the crap that the child learns from the Internet. Being an Internet addict is unhealthy to the child especially if the child is going to school. Many teachers are complaining about the bad discipline of children who are Internet addicts. They usually end up being problem children at home and in school.

6. It has ruined a lot of marriages and relationships

The easy access to available men and women throughout the world has made married life harder than it was normally. The Internet has become one of the reasons for separations, divorce and annulment of marriages. Sometimes men and women are able to find better partners in the Internet and this will cause the separation. In some cases, the spouse maybe addicted to the Internet that he/she has no more time for the family. Some also find consolation and comfort in the Internet if they are not compatible with their spouse. This will result in a separation in the future especially if one of the spouses does not find joy in the use of the Internet.

The Internet has taken its negative toll to the world of the innocent children and the unsuspecting adult. But even with the crimes that are being perpetrated through the Internet, nothing could be done about it. The only thing that we could do is to take precautions in dealing with people through the Internet. You will not be a victim if you are careful in the activities that you do in the Internet.
