The only make-up I'm allowed to wear is lip gloss. If, for some reason, lip gloss was banned from the face of the Earth and you could only wear lipstick, I wouldn't die; but it would be a disappointment.There are many reasons why lip gloss is amazing.

Lip gloss is something you were everyday. It gives a natural look and it makes your lips appear glossier, and it plumps your lips to make your lips seem bigger in size, and moisturizes them. Can lipstick do that? Lip gloss can last long periods of time and can be water-proof. Lip gloss is less heavy than lipstick.

Think about the tweens (ages 11-12) and teens! Do you actually think that parents would allow their daughter to wear lipstick? Girls would want to wear some type of makeup because of their interest in cosmetics and fashion. Lipstick is way to sophisticated and fancy. Lip gloss is fun and flirty, and says I want to have a good and fun time, while lipstick says I am serious and boring, on a teen. Okay, little bit exaggeration, but seriously. And, if you kiss your sweetie with lipstick, it will be impossible to come off. He will be made fun of for months.

Lip gloss comes in many flavors (like strawberry!), types (like glitter!), and packages, like it could come in a classic tube, a little circle where you rub your finger on the lip gloss and rub it on your lips, and a squeezer where you squeeze the bottle of lip gloss on you lips to apply it.Can lipstick come in that many flavors, types, and packages? I think not!

You could even make your homemade lip gloss by using petroleum jelly and eyeshadow: apply the petroleum jelly on your lips along with a champagne colored eyeshadow. Or, you could lick your lips a million times; it may not last that long, gives the shiny look to your lips like lip gloss. Try doing that with lipstick!

Lip gloss is less messy. When you drink out of your cup with lipstick, it automatically shows. But not with lip gloss. Lip gloss is clear, so it doesn't show up on dishes, utensils, napkins, or your skin. You could even apply lip gloss without a mirror. If you make a mistake, it ends up on your skin, right? But it doesn't show like lipstick, so really you didn't make a mistake.

You could wear lip gloss anywhere; school, a date, family reunion, anywhere! Lip gloss is awesome, and those were the many reasons why. Also, hopefully lip gloss wouldn't disappear off the face of the Earth. Hopefully!
