Unfaithful and unkind...not me,
rude and obnoxious...not me;
abusing and accusing...not me
dishonest and judgemental...not me
Not me, my former friend,
but you have hurt me
and our closeness
has come to an end.
Yet you are unfaithful,
as you betray me with others;
you are unkind to me,
to their sisters and brothers.
Not me...I still love you,
and forgive your rude reply;
not me...I will care for you,
until the day I die.
Your words were abusing,
comments became accusing;
what did I ever do to you,
for now it's me you are using.
Yes you, not me,
I was a true friend;
never dishonest or judgemental,
flowers and notes I did send.
When you made mistakes,
you were always forgiven;
now the things you do to me,
are effecting my daily living.
God says we must forgive,
and I forgive your wrong;
but our friendship is over,
even though it lasted long.
Not me...I am not a doormat,
Not me...I cannot endure;
all the pain you are causing,
because you're never sure.
Not me...as I say good-bye,
with your coldness all around;
I will not cry anymore,
leaving without a single sound...not me.

From the time I was small
I thought no, not me
I will never, not ever
Be treated like debris
As time shuffled on
Years passed
Love is responsibly alive.
It thrives in me, and in you,
not in me you say to me today,
but I say, know love too.
Why me? Why
by Jo Dawkins
I will not hear you
cry out. I will not
run and hold you
so you won't go.
I have lived here
in anger without you.
I know
Not Me.
She spent endless hours
laying on the couch;
watching t.v.
Eating potato chips;
and chocolate cake -
