The life leaving
Is life returning.
Phoenix weeping,
Sadness healing
Is joy come creeping.
Phoenix singing,
Dying, living,
Phoenix fire winging.

Of all winged creatures there is none so mystical

When I see the feeble sparrow, I see all the sparrows

On well worn stone
With dust and death
And rancid bone.
