Debating whether global warming is a threat or just media hype

of 45 C. What a range of temperature! How can you get a meaningful average yearly temperature from that? What would be the experimental error, +/- 2 degrees? What does it all mean? Combine this with umpteen other temperature measurements (hundreds of doubtful accuracy) made all over the land mass of the world (only 30% of area and concentrated in the northern hemisphere), we arrive at some magic global temperature figure, or rather a difference from last year, or a global temperature change.

You might as well rely on a two bob watch to tell the time! And many climate scientists are so serious about their research results showing supposed yearly changes of global temperature of 0.1 degree C, or even a supposed whopping 0.3 degrees, which is really just noise within the margin of error of their measurements. Fortunately, today we can rely on satellite temperature measurements which are said to be more accurate.

We have nothing to worry about with regard to global temperatures. Observed measurements and supposed changes, measured as accurately as possible, all fall within the normal natural expected range. We must monitor global temperatures and be prepared for any prolonged move in one direction. Warmer is better than colder!

What this means is that all media hype and the Greens' promotion of their "Theory of Catastrophic Global Warming" by greenhouse gas emissions, and so called carbon pollution of the atmosphere, is a load of nonsense. There is no proof that this happening.

We are all being cleverly manipulated by the Greens. Do you want your power bill to double because of having to subscribe to windmill produced Green power? Do you want your local landscape desecrated by ugly wind farms? No amount of CO2 reduction by man will have any effect on climate or global warming. Look at the present economic demise of the UK, which has meakly obeyed the Greens' mantra of reducing one's carbon footprint, which is just eco-religious bunkum.

The cheapest way to generate electricity here in Australia is from coal-fired powered stations such as those that operate in the State of Victoria. About 80% of Australia's power is derived from burning coal. The lignite reserves here are sufficient to last for several hundred years. Australia has no future power problems, provided the ideology of Greens and their Labor sycophants is appropriately defeated . They are public enemy number one!

South Australia where I live is blessed with a wonderful Mediterranean climate. What
