I always see you with tears in your eyes
With the same smile that always cries
Raising your heart high to the sky
As your body slowly dies dies dies.
I see you hide
Between the lines you write
Beneath your masks of lies
Within your broken shell
I see you slide
Day after day
Not knowing where you're going
Being carried away.
Why do you struggle against life, others, and yourself?
Why wrestle with what you can't defeat?
Why flee from what you can't escape?
Why fight against the current of your true self,
Instead of just letting yourself go. Go. Go
Just let yourself drown all the way to the ground
And float back up to the surface, where you can see the sky
Let the sunrays illuminate your beautiful beautiful face
