Whether it's for himself, his woman, or his children, a man should be able to do many things. From a woman's perspective, a man should have the following things at the top of his list of what he can do.
First and foremost, a man should have a job. We are not in the 50's, so I am in no way implying that he should be the bread winner, but a man needs to take care of himself and his children, if he has any. There are many men out there in this day and age that think its OK to just sit at home and be lazy. Take care of you and yours!
Second, a man should be able to present himself in a hygienic manner. People don't want to be around a man who doesn't take care of himself! Think about this. You see a man walking down the street who is scruffy and dirty. As he walks past you, a strong odor assaults your nostrils. Would you want to talk or hang out with him? I doubt it.
Third, a man should be able to show respect to all people. Here are a few hints. You don't have to respect someone to show respect. If you are in someone's house, don't just change the channels on their television. Don't just take their food. Ask first! Also, just because you are a blunt person doesn't mean you have to say everything that comes to your mind! Some things really are better left unsaid.
Fourth, a man should always use his manners! Put the toilet seat down! Don't tell someone they NEED to do something unless you are their supervisor or employer. Don't eat like you have never eaten before! Remember, when you are speaking with someone, don't interrupt or talk over them. And especially remember, it's not what you say, it's how you say it. Tone has a lot to do with manners and how people perceive you!
Fifth, a man should always know how to treat a woman. Don't put your hands on her! Don't tell her what to do! Be chivalrous! Open doors for her! Bring her flowers! Talk to her like she is a person, and not an object. Look her in the eyes when you are having a conversation. Don't forget to compliment her.
Sixth, a man should be able to take care of his responsibilities. There are many things this covers. One is making sure the bills are paid. Take care of your house! If something is broken, fix it!
Seventh, a man should always take care of his children. Make sure they have everything they need and always put them first! If you don't have your children, pay your child support! Make sure the mother of your children has everything she needs to take care of them. Also, make sure you visit
