How to set up a stream of passive income

The dream of having a passive income can be a reality. With some effort on your part for a time, you too can join the multitudes of people who work from home earning a passive income. If you are diligent enough building your passive income, you can be a successful entrepreneur and make a living from home.

Setting up your passive income doesn't necessarily take a lot of skill. The first step for setting up your goal is to identify what you yourself want to achieve. Set your goal low to begin with. Perhaps you just want to find a way to make an extra $50 per month.

Now that you have identified your goal, its time to begin your journey. If you enjoy writing, its time to explore the many writing sites online. Armed with a few articles that you have edited, checked for grammatical errors, and sprinkled with an appropriate amount of SEO (search engine optimization) words, its time to locate some great sites to publish to.

Go into your browser and search online writing sites and pick out a few. Join them (you will most likely need a pay pal account which is simple and easy to set up. Now starting with the first one, submit your article. Make sure to mark it as non exclusive so you can re edit it and publish it elsewhere.

Do this on several sites. Note that you need to edit your article each time you submit it to a different site. Different sites have different rules on this so read the fine print and follow it.

Most of the writing sites have "page view" earnings. In other words, each time your page is viewed, you earn a percentage. This will continue for the lifetime of this site. You now have a passive income going. The more articles you have, the more you earn.

Different sites pay differently. Some pay you an upfront immediate payment when they publish your article, others pay bi monthly or monthly. Set up as many of these as you can keep up with to begin with. Once you are well established on one, go ahead to another one and get established there.

Make sure to add in some ad accounts. There are many ad accounts out there and you can join as many as you wish. Most sites use google but some use other sites that are out there. If you are able (according to site terms) use more than one ad site.

Invite your friends and family to write too. Many sites offer you a percentage of what your friends earn on these sites. The more you invite the more you can earn.

Naturally, you aren't going to get a passive income overnight, in fact, it may take a few years to really get going on it. Read the top 10 search requests on any given day and try to write to a few of those each week to keep up in rankings.

At least once per month check out a new site. Often new sites crop up and you will find you have more expertise to offer that site. Keeping your old sites going while adding to a new site will often greatly increase your income.

Be realistic in setting your goals and upgrade your goals accordingly. So you have submitted 50 articles, you next goal should be 75. Keep upping this goal as you go and you will see your earnings greatly increase over time.

I currently have 7 sites I enjoy writing for. Next week I will look into another to make it 8. The following month I will consider a 9th and so on.

Setting up a passive income has been an enjoyable experience for me. I enjoy seeing my earnings increase and I enjoy writing. I enjoy helping my friends learn to earn money online as a passive income.

With the tight economy we are facing, setting up a passive income for your yourself is a great way to insulate yourself and your family against an unknown future.
