Pride & Prejudice
Cast of Characters (In Order of Importance)

Elizabeth Bennet - Brilliant and sparkling, our heroine brings one of the wealthiest men in England to his figurative knees. She may be quick to jump to conclusions based on prejudice but, just like Mr. Darcy, you too will want to worship at her feet.

Fitzwilliam Darcy - The handsome and wealthy master of Pemberley faces great danger when his largely warranted pride is driven a devastating blow when his proposal to a country miss who should be grateful is adamantly rejected.

Jane Bennet - Eldest of the Bennet girls, her beauty and kind nature has rendered her irresistible to Mr. Bingley and Elizabeth's closest confident.

Charles Bingley - The handsome and good natured tenant of Netherfield has the interesting distinction of being Mr. Darcy's best friend and would be better off if he were less malleable.

Mr. Bennet - The master of Longborn made an unfortunate choice of wife which was compounded by her failing to bear any sons. As his estate is entailed away from his line he takes little interest in it or his family, except for Elizabeth who is his decided favorite.

Mrs. Bennet - This poor lady feels the strain terribly of having five unwed, undowered daughters. She will do anything her small mind can concoct to rectify this plight.

Lydia Bennet - The youngest of the Bennet girls is also the least desirable member of the family, in everyone's eyes but her mother's. Flirtatious and silly, she is determined to scandalize her family.

George Wickham - Charming and deceitful, beware of this man around your daughters! Having been raised on the Pemberley estate he is particularly a thorn in Darcy's side.

Mr. Collins - The rector of Hunsford has the received the most magnificent honor of being favoured by his esteemed patroness, Lady Catherine de Bourgh, Mr. Darcy's aunt. He's also the heir of Longbourn. He'd like to marry Jane, but Bingley got there first, so he decides on Elizabeth, who is repulsed by the idea, landing him with Charlotte Lucas who is happy to soothe his bruised ego.

Charlotte Lucas - Elizabeth's pragmatic best friend cares not for romance in marriage. She is far more concerned with the very real threat of dependence in her old age.

Mrs. Gardiner - Elizabeth's aunt could not be more different than her sister-in-law and provides the elder Bennet girls with all the guidance their mother has not the sense to share.

Caroline Bingley - Charles' mendacious sister would like to catch
