God's Country
We ride along the creekside,
our bikes crunch on the path.
The canyon walls above us,
cut an awe-inspiring swath.
We're back in God's Country,
a place that we love so.
Of all the places we have been,
it's our favourite place to go!
We search the sky for eagles,
we comb the fields for deer.
The other little critters
run away when we are near.
A fisherman in waders,
or in a light canoe,
kayaks skimming over waters,
that beckon up to you.
In Spring, the blooming flowers
decorate the hills above.
In Fall the awesome colors
remind us of God's love.
For how could such a place exist,
without His intervention?
The peacefulness around us
is surely His intention!
We come here twice a year.
It's like a great retreat.
Where we commune with nature
with it's wonders at our feet.

Ambrosia and Nectar
Flowers for the garden where the weeds have taken root,
Schools of hungry insects will then descend to
by Valley Hope
Garden leaves are scattered upon the ground,
Garden echoes a whistling sound... over again,
The green and brown colours seem
While walking through the woods one day,
I spied a fox along the way;
His red coat glistened in the sun,
As swiftly he turned
by Tanya Boyd
dancing mists upon the moonlight drink
up the subtle waters as softly as the air breathes
lending placid shadows to the depths
In a world of long ago,
There's a place not to far from here,
Where the mountains reach the heavens high above,
And lush green
