Often the clouds, the heavens, become like some billowy mah jong tablets in the sky, and Apocalypto runs his fingers through them and somehow through the grasping a tenant emerges. In November, we found Colts, like some hanging final answer, like a gob of spit in the face of art, Colts. And everyone said, no.
But, there was that first game, Cain and Abel, and Cain showed tremendous poise. And poise is something that always impresses. And then again in New England, with great poise. They did everything they needed to do. And many many doubted when they entered the playoffs, just as many many many doubted the Black and the Gold the year before.
And the many are gone now like a forgotten rumor, like they never existed. The scratching sound of enamel, began the post season. Teeth gnashed down to their root, Pundits from here to Istanbul bemoan to their various Gods, 173 rushing yards allowed per game, unthinkable as zero to the medieval mind.
And then like a cloud of amnesia, a mere few weeks later, all doubters are gone, like Indians on the plains, and Andrew Jackson stands brandishing his 7 points spitting on Rex. And ye, though the Venetians said unto the people, believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear, the people heard it understood it was good and true, and mashed up the party.
And they said unto the blind men, come forth fore I have one eye, and behold the triumph of defense on the day of the great coming together, because the Bowl is a summoning of great energies, and an unleashing of great forces and those who smash mouth are charged while those relying on finesse, find fingers brittle.
And so it seems that there can be no other. The Golden Boy has had his great run, winning his super bowl against the great and legend New England Patriots, who won their Super Bowl against the great and massive San Diego Chargers, and now it seems loathsome Chicago and the points. Selah.
