Many business owners on the internet believe that they will be well guided by a business coach, and feel very confident following them. However, is this really the ideal solution?

You believe that a business coach will open your eyes and show you everything about building your business and selling, and they do start teaching you many interesting things, however, you have to consider the following disadvantages when listening to them:

1. A business coach is usually expensive, while he or she doesn't care specifically for your business, but tries to make it fit into their pattern. In other words, the business coach simply gives you a recipe that is used in most cases, without paying attention to the various details of your company, which may require a different approach.

2. The solutions that the business coach presents you are always theoretical, because they are based on successful stories. However, the steps you have to take until you reach real success are so many that if they dared to tell you the truth, you would understand that you are nave for believing that you are easily going to make money on the internet. The successful people online have worked and spent a lot before attaining real success, and they have many business partners, while you are alone, beginning now.

3. Depending on the business you are in, you may have to act doing many things that are not part of your business coach's program. If you have a website related to scientific research for example, you cannot behave like internet marketers that only care about selling their products, since your function is to educate the public, besides selling your ebooks. Your tactics have to be more sophisticated.

4. It will be better for you to learn many different methods to market your products and promote your website, from many different coaches, instead of simply following one of them. Learn what each one has to teach you, but based on the free information they give you in order to convince you to buy their ebooks. Be very cautious before deciding to purchase an ebook and follow certain methods. If you keep buying ebooks, the cost of your studies will be as high as the payment of a business coach.

5. When you find a method that seems to be really ideal for you and your business, follow it until you see positive results, without abandoning it to try something else, before working on it. You can find billions of interesting lessons, opportunities and deals in forums and free ebooks.

6. There are exceptions, of course. You may be lucky and discover a very good business coach that will really help you reach your goals without spending as much time or money as you would without any guidance, but don't think that this will free you from looking for solutions by yourself. Nobody cares more for the success of your business than you.
