shadows in the bedroom
footsteps on the stairs
creaking on the landing
please don't touch me there
I don't want to do it
I know I'm being bad
I want so much to please him
mustn't make him mad
'don't tell mummy will you
it will make her so upset'
will nobody help me.
can't you see I'm hurting
I'm crying out to you
I don't like what you're doing
or do other daddies do this too?
I had my dreams to help me
lost myself in books
but now the book has ended
my life must start at last
I'm breaking free from the past
