Freedom is over rated - until you have fought to save her. Freedom doesn't seem real - until that stench of a third world country hits your nostrils. Freedom is a joke - until those you call friends die about you.

Freedom has no price - for those willing to defend. Freedom hasn't a meaning - till it's all taken away. I will not sit here and preach to the unreachable nor will I expect all to agree with me, after all that's freedom as well, to have an opinion and to voice it. When you strip all the fancy glitter off the word freedom you are left with one plain simple word. CHOICE!

We can argue about abortion and about smoking or any other dark subject you would like. However no matter how righteous or how bad, good or evil, right or wrong the base of the foundation of freedom is choice. Take that away and you are left with a dictatorship - an oligarchy - Communism - Nazism - war lord - oppressors. No matter what country you go to. No matter how poor or how down trodden. In every nation the majority of the inhabitants want to have a choice.

You should have seen the look on the women s face's during the first Afghan. election as they came to vote! Freedom is in their hearts. Tell me that's not worth it and I'll show you ten dead friends of mine who didn't just think freedom was a good thing, they new it to be true and a very just thing. Something that is the right of every human being on this earth that is willing to believe.

Yes we are all born to freedom. Some are enslaved at an early age. I have seen hatred at it's purest and have witnessed cruelty, persecution and mass murder so let me tell you now that we are all our brothers keeper! Don't tell me you thought this whole thing was about oil didn't you?

Let me ask you if you think your opinion would be different - if you were the one depending on a stranger for something so simple as basic rights? Would you kill in order to just read a book or to be allowed to just simply say "I disagree with you sir" - without being slaughtered yourself? How about to say I believe in Jesus or I don't believe the way you believe? Say that in some countries and I wish you good luck keeping your head.

All this sounds pretty terrifying, yes, but it is the children that suffer most. School girls ages 4-5 and 8-14 beaten for going to school and possessing literature for reading. Women stoned (yes this still happens) for minor offenses and for adultery. Men beheaded, hanged, ripped apart for standing up to their oppressors.

Let me share a little something with you. A little history. It is nothing more than just a phrase, just two little words that give you the right to write on here today. I personally think this phrase goes back much further but let's start with documented proof you can research and try to prove me wrong.

Now for what ever reason (historians can not decide) the French revolution began due to tyranny or famine but the people stood up and shouted NOUS DEFIONS! Years later on a distant shore our very own revolution began. One year before the shot heard round the world was the phrase NOUS DEFIONS! So just because a few peasants said we defy and started a ripple in the pond of life are you and I able to live the way we see fit. Not the way some one else says we should live.

Do not take this so-called new war on terror lightly. My brother, we are in a fight for our freedom right now this very instant. We have only just begun to see the horrors coming to America. That is why me and my brothers stand in their country and say NOUS DEFIONS!
