My back porch
Is learning
About
The garden
That I can grow
For our love
The fountain of
Love is built
The water drops
Fall on the grass
Growing all the
Flowers and
The vegetables
That you see
On our table
I have a chair
In my back porch
Rocking away the
Dreams
Of a family
In love that
It should be
I have hopes
In the flowers
Planted
That I can see
Each leaf growing
Taking its place
In the kingdom of flowers
Sitting there
In the garden of peace
That humanity
Calls for
Making mum and dad
Very very very
Happy

My Back Porch
Is where I run to hide
To escape the threatening world inside
Life has passed me by
I am no longer welcome
Whenever I need moments of privacy,
I retreat to the vestibule of my back porch,
With the key inside to find consistency,

Really isn't a porch at all
Although it used to be one.
It's a storage shed for me
And a junk room/freezer
