Reasons why conservative Christians need to vote

by Samuel Hitchens

In 2009 America swims desperately in the digestive acids of socialism, inside its gluttonous belly, we teeter on the brink of annihilation. There are several reasons for conservative Christians to vote, the most important of which, is survival. If you look beyond the gross negligence of our main stream media, you will see millions of Christians suffering each year, under the foot of oppression and persecution. The dominant aggressor is that of Muslim, Marxist Totalitarian, or Communist regimes. In these dark hostile places, Christians don't have a vote.

Pop-culture Icon, cult of personality, and current President Barack Obama, has enthusiastically declared, "This is not a Christian nation". In previous articles, I have left no doubt that America is indeed a Christian nation; founded by Christians and built upon the bedrock of Judea Christian values, more specifically, the Ten Commandments. Our President has made it clear, Christianity is no more essential to the American way of life than Islam, Judaism, or paganism.

Recently, in his visit to Georgetown University, a Catholic Institute, President Obama had a monogram symbolizing Jesus, covered up and kept out of view. It was shameful, that the college buckled under, for the fame of the name. To properly install a socialist regime, the Obama administration, backed by the new progressive movement, must marginalize the Christian religion. In creating an enormous welfare state, the government needs to be the sole entity, to which accountability is held. There is no room for your Jesus or your biblical ideology.

If Christians neglect to vote, the left and their agenda, will continue to pollute society with moral decay. The socialist progressives, manipulate the left wing fringe, with dumbfounding precision, in hopes to infect society with such moral degradation and corruption; that it falls. Homosexual marriage, gay and lesbian adoption, gays in the military, these are very significant cracks in our foundation. Euthanasia, abortion on demand, assisted suicide, and a plethora of other socially deviant issues that the left unwittingly supports, are in direct contrast with Christian values.

As this agenda ferments, Christian persecution in America will indubitably increase, along with new legislation aimed at silencing leaders from the pulpit. The Christian voice will be entrusted to commercially palatable double talkers like Rick Warren, who much like the Georgetown University, will be quick to appease the opposition. Christians will suffer both spiritually and physically. Those who know it was God's word that guided the hands and minds of our forefathers, catapulting us to greatness, will be silenced, if the Christian vote is silent.
