This "Yes" vote is very conditional upon several factors that I will outline in the following words. From my personal experience I have always thought it would be nice to have the flexibility of a 24-hour fitness center. That's just me though. When I'm in the exercise groove I'm a pretty hard-core workouter. Some people though might need a regimen they join instead of create, you know what I mean? So, the first factor is whether or not a person thinks they can independently stick to an exercise regimen. If yes, read on to find out what else it takes. Another thing to be thought about is whether or not you are a person who enjoys routines. I think if you lean towards not 24-hour works well, but both could be a good fit. Let's say you work a graveyard shift, then a 24-hour would work great. So far, on the plus side is flexibility and the down side probably less classes, etc.
Another factor is why you're losing weight. If you are doing it from a place deep inside then I think just about any place would work. It also depends on if you enjoy being around people when you work out. This can go both ways with a 24-hour because if you do you can work out at the busy times. And if you don't, just the opposite works also. Another idea is that if you are working out at night that is your night-life. We all know how many calories beer and booze contain, let alone dehydrate a person. Clubs are for drunkards and fornicators anyhow. You wouldn't miss it.
A more technical factor is a person's metabolism and when you sleep. If you are working out at night and going to bed soon after your body will recover more quickly. The quicker you recover the better and more beneficial your next workout will be! Generally I think this fits right into night people probably being a little more sedentary than day people. Quicker recovery will help somebody a little behind get back into gear more easily.
The last type of person I will talk about is the workout "lifestylist". I have some friends back home who workout for reasons beyond fitness. They will workout to blow off steam, or have some quiet time to think. For these two reasons alone, I think a 24-hour fitness place would be wonderful because you could go there whenever you needed to.
So to sum things up I have given about seven reasons why a 24-hour fitness location could help you lose weight. First, the flexibility fits nicely around a busy lifestyle. Second, if you are a people person there will be people there at times. Thirdly, if you are not a people person there will nice quiet times. Fourth, you won't go out boozing anymore because you will be at the gym. Fifth, you will burn more calories while sleeping. Sixth, you will be able to go there at anytime for any reason. Heavenly seventhly, the body is a temple and Jesus loves you!
