I hear the soft voices
They call to me this night
To join them in the dance
Become part of the light.
The fire fights the darkness
Holding it at bay
While the dancers swirl around it
In a glorious display.
I feel the beat surround me
My body feels so light
The music I hear inside my head
Yet not feel a moment's fright.
The ghostly figures enfold me
Their warmth feels so real
To be in the dance of light
Of the love that I feel.
As the dawn touches the sky
And the night begins to fade
The fire dies down to embers
I watch the coming of a new age

Age Gauge
For some with a linear mindset
Always a constant pressing fear
Their aging an inexorable onset
Older with every passing year.
Yes we've entered a New Age,
Christians excited anticipation,

Beyond this present strand
Herald the dawn of a new age
With another incomplete generation
Blinded by envy and emotional
