Sing me a song
of all my memories
too painful to be
recalled alone
And together
we'll hear all that I see
at the back of my mind
when I'm stoned
For this is when
the words have meaning and
the song I sing brings pain
and laughter both
With words scratching
the surface of feeling
it is the song, not the
memories, I loathe!
