The ten worst types of employees a boss can have

is a definite no-no, as it destroys the bonds of the team and disrupts effective working.

- The stubborn. These people are set in their place and won't budge for anything. Their opinions cannot be made to change. Some amount of stubbornness may be useful in a company, but too much of it leads to confrontations and endless arguments.

- The absent. They may be good workers - but that's only when they're actually IN the office. These employees ask for days off constantly and may shirk shifts to hang out with friends or go on vacations. They're utterly unreliable when it comes to deadlines and take off far more time than they ever should.

- The invaluable. Mark my words, these people usually aren't anywhere as good as they make themselves sound. Yet they'll go around the office, tooting their own horn constantly and annoying everybody else. They'll also make a pain of themselves by constantly wondering why they aren't climbing the corporate ladder - and when you try and pop their inflated ego by explaining why, they won't accept what you have to say.

There are plenty more that could go on this list, but you get the idea. If somebody allows something else to get in the way of properly doing their job then they're a bad employee. Work is about WORK, not egos or taking time off or even inter-office gossip. Find somebody who's willing to buckle down and get their stuff done and you've got a real winner.
