Her love was pure as an innocent child so sincere.
A flawless white rose held so dear.
Imagine deep blue waters cascading the sea,
Then reaching across to the mountain tops,
That is how her spirit ran free.
Her smile shined, no comparison to the light on a bright sunny day.
Her eyes showed adventure like a storm on a river raft, riding aimlessly.
Her sweet sounding voice could soothe sadness, like birds chirping in the trees.
Though her mind sometimes slipped away,
Taken suddenly it just tiptoed astray, softly gone with a breeze,
Only to return again, as if nothing had changed.
Behind her spirit, smile, voice, and sparkling eyes laid hidden pain.
Nobody really knew how deep it was.
Or how her heart hurt so much.
But her love was pure.
Now she sits with the angels above,
Sending her love down here for us.
That's how pure her love was.
