We cannot speak about compensation without first questioning variable remuneration. Is it reward or just recognition? In the Internet we can read that rewarding is the act of reward or pay or compensate for something we have done or achieved. This is from an online dictionary for it must be accurate.

In spite of how you look at it, the compensation of variable remuneration is being increasingly used in organizations and enterprises for projects or just a share of the profits based on goals and results achieved or favors for the performance of individuals and the team within the corporation or the company.

If you take a look at the online business model you see that you will only earn what your really perform. You can see that you can make a website and you will only make money if you make a good website, or if you make a good product. It's not just like the traditional job that you get the same pay over and over again. Here you get only the pay you deserve because you only make the money you make for the company.

Most advertising companies will only pay you a share of what you earn for them or a percentage of what you make for yourself.

That percentage is most of the times a percentage of all the sales you make.

Let's assume you have a website that is selling advertisements. You will only make the money you make for the advertiser and the company. If your website sells well you will see that your site will rank higher in the companies website and maybe you even get a review. On the other hand if you do not perform you might get your website banned.

It's the same in the traditional companies now. You will only get what you do and most of all what you achieve so if you are a good worker you can be sure you will always make a lot more than a bad worker. If you get paid for production the only limit is the sky or the amount of production you can make.

Which website opt for this revenue model? Almost all of them. The most famous of all is CJ where you can advertise other companies products and you will only get a share of the sale and in some rare cases a few dollars for the click you sent to them.

With other companies you make money everytime the advertisements are shown regardless of the sales you make or not.

Which companies work now with that principle? The ones you must sell products. They can give you bonus, they can give you a share, they can give you a raise with the sales you make.
