The world is in a recession comparable to the Great Depression of the 1930s. If you are now living on a smaller income and hope to supplement your income with some extra cash, here are several ways to do so. Most of these methods are through the Internet (probably the most useful invention of our day).
1. Of course, one of the ways to earn extra cash is through this website,
www.helium.com. If you are not a writer with this website, come here and explore. In a nutshell, in this website, you just have to write articles and rate other articles and you can earn extra cash easily. An article can earn you between 50 US cents and US$2.50 upfront.
2. Another website that pays you to write is www.associatedcontent.com. This website offers Upfront Payments ranging from US$1 to US$20 for certain types of content, but this is only payable to US citizens or legal residents of the United States. All of the content you publish can earn you money via Performance Payments, which currently pays a baseline rate of US$1.50 for every one thousand views your article receives. I find that pay-you-to-write websites are quite good as I find that writing an article doesn't take you more than half an hour. Getting an extra dollar an hour may seem like a pittance, but it does help to contribute to your family finances. Every cent counts in this time and day.
3. Another website that I have used is www.beatthat.com. This website pays you to find deals on the Internet for electronic products, such as TVs and cameras. I used to use it as my main source of online income but it has gotten harder and harder to find deals, so I have stopped using it. Finding ("beating") a deal earns you between 50 US cents and US$2, depending on the reliability and quality of the dealer, which is rated by BeatThat! members.
4. Another website I have used before is www.mylot.com. MyLot is an online discussion website, which pays you for starting discussions and replying to discussions. MyLot pays you about 1 US cent (this is an estimate by users) per reply to any discussion of your choice, but payment rates are less clear for posting discussions. MyLot also pays you for referring people. You get 25% of your referrals' earnings. The minimum payout is US$10 via PayPal. I consider MyLot a slow way to make money, and that is why I have also stopped using it.
5. A website that I am using now is www.emailcashpro.com. This is a Singaporean pay-to-read-email company, and therefore it pays in Singapore dollars (this may make it less attractive to foreigners). It pays about S$0.005 to S$0.01 per e-mail you read. So far, I have earned an average of S$0.20 a month. The minimum payout is S$10 via PayPal. To me, Emailcashpro is leisure income, so I have not stopped using it.
These are 5 websites from which you can earn money from. The money earned may seem insignificant, but in this time and day, I think every cent counts. I hope you have gained something from this article.
