Searching for the best birth control method

What, after all, are the choices? And what are the bad points of each?

1) the Pill - of which there are many, all of which are chemicals that shut down hormone production to prevent fertility.

2) Plastics - attempt to prevent sperm from fulfilling their destinies.

3) IntraUterine Devices - which prevent the implantation in the womb of the fertilized zygote.

4) Fertility Awareness - the woman (and the man) knowing when she is fertile and avoiding sex at that time.

Those are the choices, or rather, they WERE the choices until last week when the FDA approved an emergency abortificant pill to kill a just fertilized ovum. So, I guess there are 5 choices instead of 4.

Well, which one of the above list do you think seems best? Is it really so hard to decide?

The volatility around this issue is centered on three ideas: the supposed ignorance of women to be able to learn when they are fertile, their inability to resist sexual advances, and the male's lust for satisfaction. None of these reasons for artificial birth control are acceptable.

Over the last thirty years, new factors have entered the discussion that make the matter of birth control even more important an issue: STD's, including AIDS.

Condoms are not designed to stop the transmission of viruses. Use of condoms among HIV positive populations is a way of GUARANTEEING the spread of viruses. If you deny that, you are irrational. Uganda and Nigeria are now painfully aware of this fact....

The Pill's attraction is based mostly on the fact that most women do not know their fertility cycle. It certainly seems stupid to shut down one's entire hormone cycle for years on end simply because you haven't learned which few days of the month you are fertile. The only problem is that no one makes any money off of women knowing how to read the changes in their vaginal mucous flows. Not pharmacists; not doctors; not Planned Parenthood. So, no one TEACHES women how to read their vaginal mucous flows, or otherwise determine which few days of the month she is fertile.

Knowledge is Power. Learn the Truth, and the Truth will set you free: FREE of artificial birth control. Become Fertility Aware!
