Created on: May 10, 2009

Point guards has been around since the conception of the NBA. They are the players who are the "mind" behind the game and are often referred to as "one" , "ball handler", or "court general". Point guards are so important to any team as they are considered as the coach on the floor and is responsible for handling and distributing the ball to his teammates and is comparable to the quarterback position in football. Teams often make or break it with their point guards. More often than not, teams with better point guards do better than teams who don't. Over the years, the NBA has seen great point guards.
