People watching is becoming more of a pastime to many and in most cases can be harmless yet, in other cases is dangerous. Nowadays with monitors on all in public sector, shopping centres, sports centres and any kind of entertainment venues or concerts. From the small local grocer to the big retail outlet we are been watched. It has become a need for safety and health for the overall welfare of the people.

People watching can be for others to observe and to see while visiting or just relating to the area of where you are. As a person that likes to write people and places become a part of me when writing and needing the background of an area to place the characters in a place believable to readers. That is what started me but along the way I noticed a lot of others that do watch people and people that do not see the watchers on them or sometimes I even been aware of the watchers on me.

The Pro's of People Watching

(1). For many years sociologist have studied people to enable them to better a community by the overall likes of the general public in that area. They watch the people in their communities of schools, parks and sports area. It gives them an idea of the likes and dislikes of the people in that community so when building it up, they know what to build and what not for the overall general of the public interest.

(2). The public system monitors of streets in the area of the city and its people is used for the safety of the people so, as to prevent or reduce the attacking and robbing of people and their possessions. It also keeps control on crowd disturbance and holiday over drinking that, can cause fights and injuries that occur.

(3). In the school system and its playgrounds where cameras are placed in school, colleges and university's cut back on students taking, breaking or bullying of others students while within the surroundings of the educational facilities.

(4). In shopping malls and centres the use of cameras is used to prevent stealing and the vandalism of the shops properties. It is used to prevent and intercept to retrieve stolen items so as to have less damages and lost to shops and companies withing the shopping area and its offices of business.

(5). Camera's in the parks and visiting areas for the public is used to help people in the safe keeping of them and their belongings while in the park and public visiting areas. Many a happenings of abuse and disturbance can happen in a park or public place where people visit. The cameras
