Foolish Me Clumsy You
I handed you my dreams once
Hoping that you would treat them with the same care I did
Foolish me Clumsy you
You reached for your dreams and let mine shatter on the ground
I handed you my hopes once
My goals in your hands because you said you could help make them come true
Foolish me Clumsy you
You forgot that you had them in your hands and let them shatter on the ground
I handed you my heart once
Because it was filled with a love for you my gift
Foolish me Clumsy you
You reached for another's and dropped mine and let it shatter on the ground
I handed you my mind once
Giving all my thoughts to you and you alone
Foolish me Clumsy you
You played games and got carelessblissfully unaware that my mind was shattering due to you
I handed you my future once
With a pledge to love you until the day I died
Foolish me Clumsy you
Now I sit with a razor at my wrist because you broke that future with your lies
I handed you my trust once
My faith that you would not break the things I gave you
Foolish me Clumsy you
Now my trust lies broken in the drawer with the rest of me
I handed you my life once
All that I had, I gave to you
Foolish me Clumsy you
The mortician says that it's now broken too

Blackness surrounds me
and fills my being.
Blackness fills me
and scorches my soul.
I am intoxicated
and I can't get enough.

There you are, right where she left you in sorrow,
You've made this bed of sadness and now you can't

Heart of Darkness
Here,
In the blackest depths of nowhere,
Where nothing meets naught,
I have come to sit a while
To study silence.
