Are you a woman involved in a relationship that you suspect is going nowhere? Do you desire a commitment from your man, but you aren't sure how to get one? Maybe you are single, but want to avoid making the same relationship mistakes that you have made in the past. Or, you are married, but want to know what really makes your husband tick. If you fit into any of these categories, there is now a book available to help you. The New York Times bestseller,

Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man by Steve Harvey is an insightful, truthful, and humorous account about men and what motivates them. Harvey reveals the truths and dispels the myths about men to empower women to aim high and raise their expectations.

This book is divided into three sections: The Mindset of a Man, Why Men Do What They Do, and The Playbook: How to Win the Game. Each section consists of five chapters each, with attention grabbing titles such as "We Need to Talk," and Other Words that Make Men Run for Cover, and Men Respect Standards-Get Some. In each section, Harvey goes into detail explaining how men operate, what motivates them, and how to gain the ultimate prize-a serious commitment. He encourages women to get rid of the fear of rejection, and to realize that if a man is unwilling to live up to reasonable expectations, he's not worth your time. He also points out that men are trained to be providers and protectors of women. A man has to feel needed by you, because if he doesn't, he will find someone else who needs him. Most importantly, he reveals the three most important things that a man needs from a woman. If you want to know what these things are, you will have to read the book and find out.

Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man is a very insightful and entertaining guidebook for women seeking their perfect mate, or want to know more about the man in their life. It reveals many of the tricks and games that men use on a woman. At times I even recognized that I had been played by some of the tricks that men have used on me in past relationships. The book is geared toward all women, no matter what their relationship status is. It really helps women to understand exactly how men operate, as well as the way they think. The only thing I disagree with is the ninety-day rule, because I am a Christian and I don't believe in sex before marriage. Overall, this book is a readable and revealing book about men that I highly recommend. If you want to get inside a man's head, this is the book that you need to read.
