CORNER OF THE BLACK ABYSS
I ran,
down the stairs,
as fast as I could,
towards the door.
It's so close, almost there.
There it was, I reached the door.
Out I ran. Across the deck. Through the yard.
I fell.
Tripped on a rock.
How ironic.
Oh know. They're coming. They know. I ran again. But where could I run. Nowhere, Anywhere. Where. I turn the corner. It was so dark. Another corner. No. An ally. A dead end. Turn back. I can't. I can hear them. They followed. They're near. Climb. Climb what. Brick. All brick. It was wet. I slipped.
Again I fell.
I didn't get up.
What was the point.
I saw them.
They were coming.
I waited.
Now here i sit. In pain and alone.

I wonder how long until
she hunts me down,
I wonder if they're still
fighting

I am running in the woods.
Alone, it seems.
Nobody here to see me.
Or, to hear my screams.
The ground beneath me is slipping
