Brothers Adness
There you are, right where she left you in sorrow,
You've made this bed of sadness and now you can't fall asleep in it.
You wonder if it will get better tomorrow,
More pain inside, as if there is a way it can fit.
Your body hasn't churned a strenuous activity for months,
Still it aches with passion; You can feel her in your bones.
Depression doesn't wait for prey like a spider it hunts,
Leaving its victims not as corpses but ambition less drones.
When it is through you will be empty inside,
It will eat you until there is nothing left.
A zombie, you look alive but the person you were is dead,
Along with any happy thoughts; now you only can think of death.
How sweet, you will think to yourself, if i were dead,
The aching the pain, all the troubles of life would cease.
Sadness hears your plea and invites his brother madness into your head,
He will whisper of past failures, present losses, and future doubts; no peace.
If you survive the Brothers Adness you'll find yourself in debt,
Finding that all the agony and pain left you no scar.
And when you have hit rock bottom they will whisper one last secret,
That while you have lost the person you were; you found out who you are.

I handed you my dreams once

Blackness surrounds me
and fills my being.
Blackness fills me
and scorches my soul.
I am intoxicated
and I can't get enough.

Heart of Darkness
Here,
In the blackest depths of nowhere,
Where nothing meets naught,
I have come to sit a while
To study silence.
