Cold and Hot Water
I have to drag myself out of bed every morning, away from the warmth of the blankets and the sounds of my thoughts. I have to drag myself to the bath room to brush my teeth and take a shower. Got to get clean for the day; right? Ahh the cold water in your mouth; refreshing in a way isn't it? Then the warm shower to wake you up. How many of you actually want to get out of that shower and start your day? I know sometimes I don't. The shower is warm and peaceful, the steam, the water beating down on you. There is no one else around, no sounds 'cept for some possible music. Here you can think, not in a clear and coherent manner. No, your thoughts jump from one thing to another. With each thought a new one sprouts. And why not? This is your time after all. Why fill your head with the annoyances of the day? As I stand there I cant help but think about that drive again. The ambition that is not always welcome. That one that says over and over again something great. It cannot be escaped. It alone is what forces me to get out. Then you...Then I, look in the mirror. Ever notice how some days you look better to your self then others? I have. Same goes with the clothes you put on. Both long term and short term, have you ever worn something that at one point you thought looked good? The world is sick like that. At some point all good things become hated. Maybe that is just my optimistic side coming out.

Wholesome and Nutritious
A Pop-Tart is a wonderful thing. Packed with all those vitamins and nutrients that a growing boy (or girl) needs. Ha! Its anything but, but it is better then nothing, which, with the time I allot myself in the morning to eat, is what I would have if it wasn't for this delicious toaster pastry. (I'm probably screwed now because I said Pop-Tart and didn't pay any one to tell me that I could).

The Beginning of the End
Ah class, I cant wait to go to it and I cant wait for it to end. Here's the thing about school or work or whatever it is you go through on a day to day basis. It all sucks, unless you are one of the lucky ones who honestly enjoy the work that they do. Think about it. How often do you wake up in the morning and say yay, I get to go to class or i get to go to work today! Hell, the main reason why any one likes going to these things is because of friends and crushes. I don't really want to go to class today but at least I get to see her/him. Yet we go any ways, I think its because we are hoping for something better to come out of it. Here's the thing people, if you keep waiting for this to happen, chances are its not going to. You have to get out there, you have to take charge of your own life if you don't want it to be the monotonous boring routine. I'm not saying quit school, but for the love of god, realize that they are only teaching you to work for someone.
