Of course I want Illinois lawmakers to lease the Illinois State Lottery to a private company for $10 billion, but there would have to be stipulations. Another $10 billion dollars in the hands of our corrupt politicians would be tragic. Illinois has proven to be the most corrupt state in the union. It's gotten to the point that when someone gets elected governor, the electorate waits for that person to be sent to jail. At present we are awaiting the trial of the former governor, known as Blago.

Presently most voters have NO idea where the lottery money goes, they may not want to know. All most people want to know is, did they win! If they didn't, who did? So what do I propose, I'm really sticking my head out now, I don't have a staff or advisor's so I guess I'll have to wing it. I do have many fears that the money will be given to projects that will be given to unions that have screwed the tax-payer time, and again. I don't want private companies to have it either, a politician may be beholden to them. Where should all that money go?

I have a proposal that all legislator's will absolutely HATE. Why not give the $10 billion to the people of Illinois? I can already hear the cries coming out of Springfield, our capital. Thiswould not take all money away from the state, it may make the state tighten the way they spend our money. With citizens of the state getting an equal share of the money, one can only estimate how much money will be spent on goods. The state will receive it's share of the tax on those goods, so who knows how much money the state will get back.

Some individuals may even start companies that will create jobs, more tax money for the state. The company that takes over the lottery MUST be completely transparent where the money goes, they will have to be audited frequently. They must also have to make a fair profit to recoup their $10 billion to buy the lottery and a profit.

I understand our national government is leading us down a path that is supposed to level the playing field. Equal amounts of money for all Illinois citizens, the government never figured on that one. I am not going to be like our President and tell you how many jobs will be created or how much of anything will be created, even he has no idea of what will be created.

Please understand that things like this proposal can be used by every state on different issues. How can this hurt, is it too easy to understand. I can sum it up by saying; I've paid mine, when do I get mine?
