" I love you " . It can be said over and over , but how can you be creative and really put those words into action ? You can say those three little words louder sometimes without even saying a word . You don't have to go overboard either , the small things in life are usually what people remember .

Pick a night and cook your significant other's favorite dinner . Have candles lit and soft romantic music playing in the background . Dress up and open the door for them holding their favorite wine or beverage . Give them a soft smile and slow kiss .... already they are feeling special and yes loved .

Plan a surprise get away for your lover . Tell them to pack a suitcase and jump in the car . You can scoot off to a bed and breakfast close by . If you have time off from work then head to beach or mountains . Anywhere that is exciting and fun . When you get there ... talk . Listening and paying attention to what is being said is in itself a way of showing love . Talk about anything and everything . Reconnect and you will feel closer than ever with your partner .

A long , sensual massage is always nice . Really getting close and feeling the person you are with . Soft touches are a very sweet way to say " I love you ".

Write your feelings down . Poems are a sincere way of letting your feeling show . You don't have to make a rhyme or anything , just express yourself through writing . You will love the smile you get when your partner reads your thoughts .

Spray your pillows and blankets with your partner's favorite perfume or cologne . Then buy a dozen roses and sprinkle them all over your bed . A neat idea , and very loving .

Go out on a picnic together . Bring a blanket and a book of love poems to read to your partner . If their are flowers near by , then pick one for them . Little gestures can really bring two hearts together .

A gift for no reason can be good too . It doesn't have to be expensive . Think of something your partner has mentioned wanting , and surprise them with it . They will love it and be happy that you remembered .

On just a normal night , a kiss for no reason will show your love . A soft touch on their back or simply playing with their hair will again say " I love you ". Rubbing their arm softly while snuggling close and watching a good movie will do the trick too .

Love is not just a word . It is an action . Be creative and show your love to your partner today . You'll be happy that you did .
