Naruto Shippuden is a spin-off off of the original show Naruto. It continues with the travels of a young boy named Naruto who is the host of a demon called the Kyuubi( Nine- Tailed Fox). He is in in a constant conflict with a criminal organization called the Akasuki, headed by a near god-like person called Pain. It starts with the main character, Naruto returning from a tear training period to his village called the Hidden Leaf Village. At the same period, two Akasuki members called Diadara and Sasori travel to a village called The Village Hidden in the Sand to capture their leader Garra for his demon called the Shikaku. They start by bombing their village and Gaara eventualy shows up to protect his village. They get started in a long battle in which the Akasuki member win. They take the body to their hide out where they take the demon out of Gaara and putting it in a statue, which killss Gaara in the process. This shows Akasuki's true intentions, extracting seven different demons to create a weapon of mass destruction.

There is actually a dark hidden meaning that very few people has recognized. The anime shows the different countries in the anime acting out as actual countries. For example it displays the strongest country, Konoha as having corrupted leaders and massive conspiracies that are thrown in as sublimes. This is directly portraying United States as the most powerful country in the world, but has corrupt leaders. Then the country. Sand Country is symbolizing Saudi Arabia as a country that is located in the desert and is under developed. The sound village is symbolizing Russia in being run by a madman like Orochimaru and had a communistic history. Lastly, there is Amegakure. It symbolizes Nazi Germany, as it is ruled by the Akasuki. Its leader has a vision in which to rule the world he has to spread pain and dominate the world.

Overall, Naruto is a great anime that has so many plot twists, characters, and strongest villains, second only to Dragonball Z. There is an incredible amount of action that has blood and gore in it. The constant struggle against akasuki and Orochimaru hs made this series a million times more entertaining than the original. All of the Akasuki members have out of this world abilities. There are even two full-fledged immortals in that group, and they aren't vampires. This series is highly recommended for people who like a lot of action and incredible villains.
