Poetry: I am a woman

by Egon Lass

Created on: May 07, 2009

NO SALE

A moment of shyness, honey?
I haven't a moment to spare.
Explain what you want for your money;
A tease? Or everything bare?

I haven't always been cheap,
But I'm in, just as long as he pays.
I lash the elite with my whip,
And they serve me in sparkling trays.

Who are you? What lies do you tell?
What side of the box do you poke?
Does discipline ring your bell,
Or do you prefer to joke?
Whatever it is, I'll sell.
God! Just pour me the rum and coke
