Barack Obama and the audacity of Jeremiah Wright

There is no denying that the man Jeremiah Wright is different from the character that everyone who had cable had the privilege of witnessing Rev. Wright make a complete ass out of himself. Our first introduction to Rev. Wright was 10 second snippets of video recording rather than a whole sermon about "America's chickens coming home to roost. From the 10 second snippets, individuals declared that a man of his stature was nothing more than the devil spewing hate and blasphemy against this "great" country of ours. "How dare he!" was uttered from sea to coastline, from MSNBC to FOX news and every other news broadcast in-between.

It was not hard for me to decipher the message of not "divisive just different" in his televised sermon at the NAACP dinner in Rev. Wright's honor. I was moved. From every example I found clarity and in every word came an understanding of Jeremiah Wright.

Reverend Wright under our Constitution has the right to speak anyway he see's fit. As much hate and contempt that America is subjected to through published articles, the World Wide Web and radio (Rush Limbaugh), I was amazed at the attention a preacher from the inner city of Chicago Illinois received; But then again, anything to prove that Barack Obama just won't do.

I personally vowed not to be just like the masses of folks that criticized and judge Barack based on the obvious opinions of someone else. If someone jumped off of a bridge, would you follow? If I may speak on the phrase that ruffled people's feathers which were "America's chickens coming home to roost." The fact of the matter is people; Karma is a doubled edged sword. It's a fact that energy both positive and negative is what makes the world go round. It's a fact that someone has used the phrase "Karma's a bitch" when he/she has been done wrong. My point is America is not this great country because we offered our "rivals" milk and cookies for a share of whatever our founding fathers thought would make this great land great. They ruffled feathers, pillaged, found it necessary to own human beings as chattel (property), raped men and woman (Willie Lynch Laws) and burned villages all for or "great" country.

So why not the "audacity" of Rev. Jeremiah Wright? I for one will support him whole-heartedly and look forward to acquiring knowledge, wisdom and an understanding of any lesson that he makes public.
