Distant Thunder
I love the sound of distant thunder
in my life...
distant rumbles of love lost,
pain endured,
the sweet textures and flavors
of light,
and of friends.
God in a glass.
Thunder moves in rainy days that occupy
my heart.
Rain thrives there,
friends are lost there,
in a well of stone
and eternal loneliness.
