How to tell if you are a workaholic

Workaholic is not "Work + Alcohol", but it is "Work + Addiction"!

That is "Workaholic = Work + Addiction".

I associate with this term "workaholic" because I have been there and\or also have been among them. But now, looks like the work got tired of me and wanted a break and subsequently has given me a break too. So I better make use of it. Am I making use of it? I am still sitting and writing articles or doing this or doing that. Just not staying still and relaxing. So, "I had been there" or "Am I here still?". Question to ask myself!

Workaholic is an addiction related term, which also means they can be short lived and most scary, can be repeated. Like every other addiction, this addiction too displeases surrounding people in it's extremity. This clearly questions an individual's priorities and capabilities in balanced life. You are probably reading this because you are either really interested in this topic or you know someone who is a workaholic and would like to prove your point to them sometime when you get a chance because you are mostly sure, a workaholic would not spend time reading this article, unless this is his or her job.

You can call an individual a "workaholic" if you find the person to be 75% "fitting" in the points below. If the score is less than 30%, there is a high chance of the person getting fired in this competitive world.

1) Going to the office in the weekends.
2) Is the first one to reach and last one to leave the office premise.
3) Finishing tasks ahead of time to start on the next one.
4) Going back home just to restart and continue with already planned "to-do-at-home" list.
5) All the time getting complaints from near and dear ones that enough time is not given to them.
6) 90% of the names in phone book are those of colleagues.
7) Not social with family and extended family.
8) Find anything outside work as a waste of time and not-interesting.
9) Has lunch and coffee at desk everyday and every-time.
10) Cares less about own appearance.
11) Gets dreams about the work issues and problems to solve, that is if that person sleeps.
12) Postpones the "not-work-related" tasks forever, giving it the less priority.
13) Reaches a situation where they can no longer postpone "not-work-related" task, and would like to just complete it and fast and be done with it.
14) Gets excited when they have more tasks, and have a feeling of relief that they do not have to waste their time in doing the long pending other chores.
15) Have a feeling that they are contributing
