Driving in a SUV does not make you look cool at all in fact it does the opposite!

Driving a SUV give its owner almost the same image that a truck does. I find that most people judge the owner of the cars by how the car looks. For example a Ferrari looks sleek and elegant which is what most people would consider the owner to look like even though that assumption may not be true. So based on the same theory a owner of a SUV would get the appearance of being large and impractical. So this would give the owner of a SUV a dumb appearance because of how it is large impractical and over all is not a logical option when thinking about buying a car!

Don't you find that sports cars get all the women and a SUV will often get kicked out of the " I'm single and rich " categories. This is because of the fact that a lot of people turn to a SUV when they cant fit all their kids in a little Nissan. Although a SUV can be very expensive and often more expensive then a normal size car, many people do not consider them to be a expensive looking car because they are so big and aren't as eye catching.

With gas crisis's the " Green Team " will be against you. As their are already many environmentalists explaining how bad these cars are for the environment the popularity of a SUV may decrease even further and make its owner frowned upon by many. Many people find the owners of a SUV to be idiots! At a time when the United States is at war basically over oil, people looking to buy a car go look for a Hummer what is the logic in that? A Hummer only get 15 miles to the gallon! Now how does that sound appealing at all, now I own a small can with maybe a 16 gallon tank, and that still costs me about 35 dollars. Every time I pay I watch the guy in his SUV pull in and hand over a fifty and get change back just for gas! I wont let that happen to me, hopefully you wont let it happen to you either, it makes the owner look like a idiot.

A big bulky SUV may also endanger other cars in a crash. Which would you rather be hit by a Hummer or a compact car, while your sitting in your Toyota? I know I'm picking on Hummers but I find them to be the ugliest of them all! It looks like a military vehicle ( It actually was previously a military vehicle. ) and it's completely unnecessary for someone to own one and makes the owner look like he doesn't know what he is doing.
